Dr. Thomas A. Woods, Jr.

Dr. Thomas Woods was raised in the country in Waynesburg, PA. He is the oldest son of nine children. Growing up on a farm had a major influence on who Dr. Woods is today as a professional. He had first hand experience of the benefits of eating farm fresh produce without pesticides, free range poultry, cattle and pork without the exposure growth hormones or antibiotics and mineral rich spring water without harmful chemicals added.

 

Being raised in the country has given him a love for God and family, hunting and fishing and a passion to teach others what’s necessary to obtain optimum health. Hardwork on the farm was an everyday occurrence that has carried over into his professional career.

 

Dr. Woods attended and graduated from West Greene High School, Greene County, PA in 1979, California State College in California, PA in 1981 and Logan Chiropractic College, St. Louis, MO in 1985. Dr. Woods is presently partnered with The Wellness Prescription Group founded by Dr. Bentley, where he is studying and practicing Functional Health (also know as Functional Medicine nationally).

 

Dr. Woods is a Certified Gluten Practitioner and is presently partnered with the Welness Prescription Group, founded by Dr. Ryan Bentley. Dr. Woods has found that the combination of Chiropractic care and Functional Medicine has allowed his patients to achieve optimal health at a much quicker rate. 'Finding the cause of the problem is always better than just treating the symptom'.
